1 this is a cat litter box.
Now when my big boy goes into the smaller box and pees towards the door it all goes on the towel which i change easily.
This box is nice compact size and the high sides kept litter from being slung out.
The high wall with a curve at the top does keep the urine from spraying out but as it runs down the sides it then goes outside the box and onto the floor.

Inside i put a high side flat bottom kitty litter box.
It fits perfectly width wise but is about 5 shorter.
So i decided to use decal stickers and the possibilities for decoration and personalization are nearly endless.
With odor control insulated inside and a top entry slot to prevent litter tracking this rubbermaid bin turned litter box is an inexpensive and durable solution for cat mommies on a budget.
In addition to keeping pee in the box the big high sided storage totes also keep litter in the box for the cats who like to dig and dig and dig and dig and scatter litter everywhere.
And 2 i wanted to keep this a simple and cheap diy project.
I push it all the way to the back and keep a folded towel between the door and the smaller box.
